Regarding the academic progress reports that the Academic Support Program for Student Athletes (ASPSA) requests from instructors: the Office of the University Registrar and Chief FERPA Officer verifies that providing feedback on individual students in response to these requests is allowable under FERPA, as this is a well-established student support process. The information being shared with other University officials helps identify which students need assistance and what type of assistance they may require.
